Planning the film

Oh so long ago, I became obsessed with a real time strategy game, Age of Empires. With so many different civilizations (unique, historically based factions playable in game) to learn about, I knew I had to find a way to organize all the information I could gather about each civilization's strengths and weaknesses, strategies, and play styles. My father presented me to MindMeister, a web based service that made the creation of mental maps, graphic organizers and flowcharts accessible to a ten year old like me.

When I finally decided on an topic I could stick with for my project, I came across a similar problem. I knew I needed to compile and organize my ideas for the movie, which will focus on expressing issues I find permeate The United State's society, particularly those that contradict the very people who founded it.

Thankfully, I managed to scour through 8 years worth of song lyrics, math, phone numbers, addresses and memories in my mind, leading me to a solution this problem. The name MindMeister, although seemingly dusty and obsolete, came back to mind. It was forsaken by my memory to rest under countless hours of memories, like the important file you misplaced in the trash bin on your computer.

This is what I have on my mental map on MindMeister, so far. The plot line's content is collapsed in this image for the sake of space.
